It All Burned Down

This piece is about change. The figure turns away, not in rejection, but in recognition that the past is no longer a place they can return to. Embroidering on paper is intentional and irreversible, just like certain choices, moments, and transformations. Once the needle passes through, there’s no undoing it—only moving forward. This work holds that tension between memory and motion, loss and becoming.
